Batam, Indonesia
Batam Pos Sport Open Drag Race Seri 6 on Saturday 15 January 2011

NP Temenggung Abdul Jamal Circuit

Batam drag strip is an unique & challenging track. While the first 150 metre is a relative long straight, the final 50 metres is a steep upslope that requires attentive focus on the correct engine setup to extract the best power band.

Local racer Ah Tee went on to beat the competition with 1st Position overall in the open drag race and broke the previous record time of 8.6 with a new record time of 8.579

The close relationship with Wan Kok Kiong of Ah Tee and Robert (Both from Team Sanchezz) has spanned more than 7 years. Together with the guidance of N2CS's Ah Kiong, Ah Tee (Car no. 37) & Robert (Car no. 7) of Team Sanchezz has improved very much over the years. Their passion for motorsports and talents played a great role in honing their skills to the high standards of today.

Ah Tee & Robert also regularly visits Singapore, and together with N2CS to share & co-develop ideas in terms of engine setup & tuning, suspension and car handling characteristics. Due to the octane levels found in gasoline available at Batam has it's limitations, consideration has to be given when tuning configuration in Singapore to better obtain desirable engine performance when racing the setup in Batam.

Year 2009 - 2011 year has seem great success for Team Sanchezz with the following Champion positions:
- Single Cam Champion
- Single Cam Auto-transmission Champion
- Up to 1600cc Category Champion
- Open Category 2WD NA Engine Champion
